Head 11

I’ve had a good time just letting myself get loose with the structure of the head. I enjoy seeing a shape in the natural stone and refing it until it is a cross of the natural beginning with my specific efforts.

Each of the sculptures in this series has several “fronts”. I have tried to make them interesting head studies from every angle.

I appreciate my friend Dan Focht shooting these heads. I am not a good photographer, and would not have been able to convey them the way he did. Thanks again Dan!
