Finding form and expression with stone, for a while, meant something different than finding form and expression through stone carving. Although I have since rediscovered my love of carving, I am glad I did this series and look forward to being urged by the muse to do more.

The full moon in this shot adds to the content of the sculpture in a very cool way. I love how the nvironment contributes to outdoor sculpture. The birds on the works, icicles, fog… all wonderful collaborators.

The harsh light of a flash at night seems brash and unnecessary in an open environment such as this.
