I did five fireplaces for this home, and each was very different. The client was very hands-on with the overall design of the home, and we all had a good time creating his vision.

We did clay models for approval before carving, and the client had contributions to make along the way. Incorporating the personal preferences of the client makes the end product a true collaboration.

It may sound silly, but I have always like carving small, simple, florettes. They happen so quickly, and at the last minute of a piece.
