Creekside Wall

This is a shot of the back side of the natural stone walls for Creekside Park. From the front, a larger crack between the stone became an opportunity to create a “light tunnel” just for fun for the curious. The stainless steel tube ended up flush with the finish grade, and was capped with a glass lens to allow natural light to spill into the stone tunnel we have built here. Creekside Park in the city of Gahanna, Ohio, is host to the annual Gahanna Jazz and Blues Fest, and has become a gathering place for the community. Massive natural stone blocks of Indiana Limestone were custom fit over the course of nearly two years. The crew of Old World Stone Carving worked all year through to fit and set these huge stones; the result is a park unlike any other, that will last for generations.
